Do you ever leave a museum feeling like you barely scratched the surface? Like you walked past fifty paintings in an hour and remembered none of them?
Slow Museum Saturdays is a monthly meetup for people who want to experience art differently. Instead of rushing through galleries, we choose a handful of works — usually four or five — and spend real time with each one. Seven to ten minutes. No rushing. No art history degree required.
We look. We notice. We talk.
Inspired by the concept of slow looking — championed by Rob Walker in The Art of Noticing — each session follows a simple rhythm: silent observation, personal reflection, then open conversation. What you see matters more than what you know.
We're a small, welcoming group based in Berlin 🇩🇪, and we meet on Saturday afternoons at some of the city's most remarkable museums and galleries. Whether you're an art lover, a mindfulness enthusiast, or simply curious — you're in the right place.
