Hi everyone,

How’s it going? Spring is in the air, and everything around us is becoming more and more beautiful by the day. It’s my absolute favorite time of the year. I especially love seeing trees sprout new leaves—as if a spell has been cast and life is returning to the barren and lifeless.

As it becomes more enjoyable to spend time outdoors, I wonder how many of you would still consider coming to museums over the coming weeks. I, for one, have resolved to keep up my habit of going to a museum every Saturday—even if the beach beckons. Maybe there's a way to enjoy the best of both? Let me know if you have any ideas along those lines.

As for this week, we’re going to Utrecht for another peaceful Slow Museum Saturday at the Centraal Museum. I found the layout of the building a bit confusing at first, but it made sense once I figured out the structure. There are many different kinds of experiences to be had, so this time I think we can spend an hour exploring beyond our mindful exercise.

From the feedback I’ve received so far, it seems people appreciate the somewhat guided aspect of the experience. I haven’t yet found a good way to preserve that quality if more people begin to join, so for now I’m further limiting the number of attendees. I do hope that someday, some of you might feel like taking up this role too—then we could form small groups during the events.

The museum has a lovely café at the back, where I’ll be waiting to greet you next Saturday. Let’s all meet there for the introduction session. Please don’t forget to get your ticket. Also, feel free to join our WhatsApp group and follow our Instagram page to stay connected.

Wishing you all a lovely week!

Kind regards,

Imtiaz
