Hey there, beautiful people!

I know the sun isn't shining as much today, but I hope you're still having a lovely day. I just wanted to thank you all for joining our small community. I'm really looking forward to getting to know each of you and sharing meaningful experiences together.

To make these meetups as enjoyable as possible, I plan to visit the museums myself beforehand. So, last Saturday, I was in The Hague, enjoying the beautiful weather and exploring the amazing Mauritshuis Museum. It was a bit overwhelming for me, to be perfectly honest with you. I had been told it’s a small museum, but every corner gleamed with beauty and revelation.

I found myself spending way too much time admiring some of the artwork. The museum also has this particular layout—the café is not part of the main museum building. So, I had to walk over to take a break in between. It was late afternoon when I came across The Anatomy Lesson of Dr Nicolaes Tulp, and I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Of course, I didn’t mean to laugh at Rembrandt’s early masterpiece—it was just that the expressions on the faces were so interesting!

I would have loved to spend more time with the painting, but I was quite tired by then. That’s why I’m so glad I’ll be going again next week with all of you! The museum is a bit compact, so it might be nice to split into small groups and start at different spots. The café has a separate entrance from the main museum, so if you'd like to save yourself some walking, you can head there first. Let’s meet there and figure out how we want to explore together.

I’m looking forward to seeing some of you this Saturday! If you can’t make it, feel free to share the invite with others who might enjoy the event.

Kind regards,

Imtiaz
